Inglese Arranges Sale of 174,000 sf Former Alexion Pharmaceuticals HQ
Cheshire, CT — The former Alexion Pharmacuticals headquarters facility in Cheshire, CT was sold. The property included 175,000 sf on 75 acres and was improved with lab and office space that was formerly occupied by the pharma company. The buyer was an entity related to Accel International, a manufacturer of high tech conductors. The company will be expanding its Connecticut operations with the new acquisition.
Accel will demolish many of the interior improvements in preparation of the space for use as high end manufacturing space. The facility was improved with significant infrastructure that included significant power capacity as well as a large solar array. The existing building has expansion potential of another 200,000 sf.
Steven Inglese, represented the buyer in the transaction. The seller was an entity controlled by Winstanley Enterprises.
