New Haven, CT -- (December, 2008) 45 and 55 Church Street located in downtown New Haven was sold for $8,000,000. The New Haven Group's Steven Inglese represented the Seller, a Fairfield based private equity firm, and procured the buyer, a joint venture between New Haven based Hurley Group and Jonathan Rose Companies, a New York City based developer.
The deal traded during an improbable time in the market when the financial markets had collapsed in the fall of 2008, which showed the resiliency of the downtown New Haven market during that time and the strength of the purchaser. The property included a multi tenant office tower an a vacant bank branch building.
Steven Inglese also previously sold the office complex in 2004 when it represented The Geometry Group, a New York based private investment firm and procured the buyer. The property traded for $7.3 million in that previous transaction.
